Post-interview Discussion

Pilar: This is our first interview in which we actually have previous episodes published on https://enclavedepodcast.com/ Before this we had no published episodes to direct people to.

So far, Spanish podcasters have received our podcast very warmly and have said very nice things about it.

Craig: Spanish speakers have commented that they understand the English part and are following the post-show discussion, which is wonderful.

Pilar: we are finding a lot of inventive, artistic and creative podcasters who are making good quality, original audio content.

"Spanish podcasters seem to be enjoying the flexibility and using their imagination and creativity to go where they want to go with their podcast."

Craig: Spanish podcasters seem to be very prolific and ten have two podcasts or more.

Podcasters' Roundtable: http://podcastersroundtable.com/

Pilar: Podzapp is not family friendly.

English language podcasters, when talking together, often take themselves more seriously than Spanish speaking podcasters.

Spanish podcasts generally have very high production quality. The relationship between podcasters themselves, and between podcasters and their audience, tends to be more informal.

The main difference between JPod and the conferences we know is that there are many listeners attending JPod.

iVoox is the main podcast directory. We're also in Podkast.

Isn't it wonderful that we're listening to stuff we wouldn't normally listen to!
